In 2024 we are creating the first local-language, women and girls health information “channel” online (on Instagram and YouTube) and offline (through Internet-in-a-Box technologies.
Help us make that Instagram channel “zing” through working with our team of two staff to brand posts, create infographics (using Canva, scheduling a variety of reels, posts and shares, and using analytics to know what works in our Himalayan context – while building your social media marketing skills to further your career!
This is an online post – and you’ll need to dedicate around 60 hours over 3 months, including 4 one-hour Google Meets workshops with your Himalayan Team.

Winter Camp Coach
We are always looking for passionate people who want to mentor inclusion on the pond in the mornings and train coaches and youth educators in the afternoons
Ice hockey is the perfect team sport to attract kids back to their home villages during their long winter school breaks. Mornings are filled with inclusive fun on the rink. Afternoons are where Project Based Learning and real-life problem solving introduce kids to the kind of learning that builds job skills. And evening are filled with traditional stories, singing, dancing and fun.
This is one of the toughest, coldest volunteer opportunities that you will never forget. And while it guarentees to recharge your batteries, it will also introduce you to life-long friendships and build skills that will serve you well all throughout your life.
You don’t need to be an expert player – just come with a big heart.

Collect Gear
Get a collection bin happening in your Rec Centre, School, Club, or Church.
Once each year we get part of a sea container stuffed with any kind of gear our heart desires.
It’s pretty amazing when your 2nd Graders see their hockey jerseys on our kids, or see an old wheelchair slide across our Ability Rink.
